First Image of Dwayne Jhonson aka The Rock and Jack Whitehall in Disney’s Jungle Cruise
“On set of our DISNEY’S JUNGLE CRUISE and I made friends with a big ‘ol hungry Anaconda.
“While my brave co-star and good buddy @jackwhitehall did his best to smile thru his fear of snakes. Good times with the animals of the Amazon. Next, me and Jack will swim with the piranhas.. completely against his will. The adventure of the lifetime.” – wrote Dwayne Jhonson aka The Rock while sharing what is the first image from Disney’s upcoming film Jungle Cruise.
The image shows a very happy Dwayne and an absolutely terrified Jack Whitehall with a big Anaconda.
Jack Whitehall has been under the fire lately because he will be playing the first openly gay character in a Disney movie.
Jungle Cruise will also star Emily Blunt and is set to arrive in cinemas on 11 October, 2019.
Jungle Cruise is an adventure film based on the Disney theme park attraction that goes by the same name. In this theme park ride a small riverboat takes a group of travelers through a jungle filled with dangerous animals and reptiles, but with a supernatural element.
Dwayne (The Rock) plays Frank, Emily Blunt plays Lily Houghton and Jack Whitehall plays the role of Lily Houghton’s little brother.
