Despite the photo shop and professional makeup jobs, Hania Amir opened up about her acne struggle. Hania took to her social media to share her complete nude face, thus exposing her acne and sharing her struggle with the world.
That’s not all, Mehwish Hayyat a few hours earlier did the same.
While Hania’s struggle pertaining to her acne was hard, Mehwish Hayyat said its all a part of being called a woman: “Flawsome is awesome. Away from the studio lights, the cameras and the glamorous make up, We all battle with the same skin problems and insecurities as any other girl. Let’s embrace it – its called being a woman”
Since we face a constant flurry of perfectly curated media, Both Mahwish Hayyat and Hania Amir reminded us that even the most gorgeous and privileged among us deal with skin woes and acne breakouts.
At the end of the day skin is just skin. It doesn’t care who you are, it will do its thing which unfortunately is not always what we like. Hania and Mehwish just reminded us that rather unfairly comparing ourselves to heavily edited images of celebrities and social media influencers, we should instead settle down with what we have of our own.
These two posts will hopefully help many girls feel less alone in their skin care journey. So the next time you see Hania killing it, just know that she has been working hard to figure out her skin like you are.
Meanwhile here are few things a person can do to prevent pimples and other forms of acne, including:
