One of the most important areas in which we can all make progress for the benefit of disabled people and society as a whole is in the workplace.
It was absolutely heartwarming to see the enthusiastic entrepreneur Umer Hussain of Sweeth Tooth share a message calling for recruitment of specially abled people for Sweet Tooth on his socialmedia this evening.
“At Sweet Tooth we believe it’s vital to create equal employment opportunities for the those with special needs.” wrote Umer Hussain on his Facebook.
He then further announced that he looks forward to recruit specially abled people at Sweet Tooth:
“We now have vacancies open for the very abled but with special needs (wheelchair bound, hearing impaired etc). We hold a firm belief that it is integral to train the physically and psychologically challenged in skills in which they can specialise. This is not only so they can financially support themselves but, to also boost their confidence and make them feel like they are important stakeholders in society.
We are humbly looking forward to your response!
so if you know of any marginalized community members feel free to send them over!

This message by Umer Hussain is beautiful. It aims to promote the rights and well-being of persons with disabilities in all spheres of society and development, and to increase awareness of the situation of persons with disabilities in every aspect of political, social, economic and cultural life.
In 2016, Umer Hussain took the initiatve to train transgenders in the field of hospitality.
” I wanted to help transgender mainstream into society. I hope to help promote tolerance and have taken initiative to train the lot in the field of hospitality. It is high time that people start treating them as part of society – as normal people and not people that bring ‘dishonour” He was quoted given an interview to a newspaper.
In Ramadan, Sweet Tooth is known to have treated 18000 plus kids to its yummylicious icecreams.
Inspired by what Umer Hussain is doing and what initiatives he is taking. Are you wondering what can you do to promote the rights and well-being of persons with disabilities? Well, if you run a business or are in a position to hire people, an important thing you can do is to give opportunities to disabled workers.
